LinkForm: a Multipurpose VR-based Remote Skill-Transfer Robotic System

We presented our poster paper at the 2025 IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces.
Physical interaction is critical for effective skill transfer, yet most immersive training systems focus only on visual and auditory cues. LinkForm addresses this gap by combining a VR environment with a robotic system, allowing a coach to remotely train users with visual, verbal, and physical guidance. Preliminary evaluation shows significant improvements in participant performance, and participants expressed strong interest in using LinkForm, highlighting its potential for a wide range of remote training scenarios.
